Our Trip to Connersville

The Sanson's spent the weekend in Connersville with Heather Caldwell. We had a wonderful time just being with Heather (she spoiled us!) but we also got to ride Thomas the Tank Engine!
We left around 7:30 Saturday morning and it didn't take long for Brayden and Audrey to pass out!

Our departure time was noon for our ride on Thomas. It was hot but a nice breeze made it bearable.

The kids said they enjoyed the ride, though it wasn't their favorite part of the day. Thomas pulled several 1930's cars--no a/c and no bathrooms!

Daddy and Brayden. Audrey and Heather. Billions of other children and nearly naptime.

The favorite part of the day. Only one child had to be pulled out by her ankles.

Daddy taking his hot, tired crew to the car with the promise of a cold drink and ice cream at DQ.

Snuggles with Heather before bed.

There was a little too much rush, chitchat and scrapbook viewing for Eric's liking but we did squeeze in a couple of games of Farkle.

I still want to travel by train, wish I could go on Thomas. Everyone looks like they had fun. Aunt Sandy
